Beautiful and fun evening run through Peters Canyon!
GENERAL INFO
- Date: Friday, April 24, 2020
- Check in for registered runners begins at 4:00 PM
- 10K begins promptly at 5:00 PM. Runners and hikers must maintain an 18 min mile pace.
- Awards: 6:30 PM (subject to change)
- Registration Fee: $60
- Inclusions: Awesome custom race medal for all participants, high quality t-shirt, post-race snacks. NOTE: Your preferred shirt size cannot be guaranteed for registrations after 4/1/20
- Prizes: Top 3 overall in the 10K race receive special awards and prizes
- Location: Peters Canyon Regional Park. 8548 E. Canyon View Ave., Orange, CA 92869. Race starts in the main parking area for Peters Canyon Regional Park on the Lake View Trail.
- Strollers are not permitted on the course.
- Parking is ALL off-site for this race. We have a couple of options, and both require a 10-15 minute walk to the park so please allow enough time.
- #1: Chapman Hills Elementary School on Aspen, about a half mile from the park. You can park in the school lot or on Aspen which is the street that leads to the school. There is space for about 100 cars in that area. We will have volunteers to guide and optimize parking.
- #2: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Newport Ave. There is plenty of parking here. It's about .7 miles from the park.
- Please do not park in the residential areas around the park. Permits are required, and you will likely be ticketed.
- The reason we're not parking in the OC Parks lot (the Peters Canyon lot) is that space is limited and the park is very popular with various types of users. We need to protect the space for them, and because of this, we've arranged for off-site parking. THANK YOU for your cooperation and understanding.
