REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
If I want to cancel my registration, will I get a refund?
We adhere to the standard racing industry policy. All entry fees are non-refundable. The entry fee for this year’s event will not transfer to next year’s event or to a different / future Rock It Racing event.
May I transfer my registration to another person (a "person-to-person" transfer)?
We have a transfer policy that allows for transfers from person-to-person up to ONE WEEK prior to the event. If you do not show up for the event and your entry hasn't been transferred, your entry spot and race items will be released and sold to event day registrants. This includes medals and t-shirts. We are unable to mail these items.
May I transfer my registration to a future event?
No, we are not able to accommodate transfers to different events. Per our person-to-person transfer policy, you may transfer to another individual up to ONE WEEK prior to the event.
What happens if the race is cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions, Act of God, terrorism, disaster?
We make decisions based on safety first. We work with local entities to make these decisions. Race courses and race dates will be altered as seen fit by Rock It Racing, Orange County Parks and / or California State Parks & Beaches. Registrants in a postponed race will be transferred to the rescheduled date at no charge. If the new date does not work for the registrant, we can be flexible with transfers to other available Rock It Racing events within a twelve (12) month period. All entry fees are non-refundable.
I won an award (overall or age group), but didn't receive it. How can I get it?
Awards are given to the top 3 overall men and women and three deep in the age categories (men and women) 9&Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80&Up. You can pick up awards at the event, even before the awards announcements. If you have to leave early, let us know and we will verify your result and give you your award. If you leave without your award, you can pay to have it mailed to you. We do not have an office for pick up. Information on mailing is here.
