Restore & Run with the Rock it Restoration Crew!

​Managing miles and miles of trails is a big job, and OC Parks relies on public volunteers for a variety of rewarding work.  From repairing erosion to cutting back trailside vegetation and removing invasive plants, volunteering for trail work helps keep the trails accessible and enjoyable for everyone. 

As a Rock it Restoration Crew member, your qualifying volunteer shift of at least three (3) hours earns you entry to a future Rock it Racing event.*

The following OC Parks restoration programs are open for registration now, and all qualify you for a free race entry and a Restoration Crew t-shirt:
Peters Canyon Regional Park Third Sunday Trail Restoration

  • Sunday April 16, 2017 from 7:20 am - 10:30 am
Santiago Oaks Regional Park Stewardship Program​

​Irvine Regional Park
  • Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm

In order to qualify and validate your shift, please email us for a volunteer form and explore the Let's Go Outside web site for more info on these programs and more through the Irvine Ranch Conservancy:
*Event entry is valid for Rock it Racing events taking place in the six (6) months following the volunteer shift.  Not all events may apply, and events are subject to change.
